Where do children go after Year 2?

During the three years at Burchetts Green Infant School, we provide children with an unrivalled experience that enables them to develop their confidence and ability to articulate their thoughts and feelings. Teachers at receiving schools always  compliment the children for their academic ability as well as their resilience and desire to achieve the best they can.

In recent years, our Year 2 children have transferred to lots of local schools in both the independent and state sector. In 2023; 20% of the class moved to the independent sector. Some of our children transferred into Year 3 at local Primary Schools, whilst others joined Junior Schools.

All Saints Junior School in Maidenhead joined ODST in January 2023 and we are working with the school to ensure there is a clear journey for Burchetts Green children.

Other schools in the area where our children have transferred to include: Courthouse Junior School, Furze Platt Junior School, Knowl Hill Primary School, Bisham Primary School, Crazies Hill Primary School, St Nicolas Primary School in Taplow, St Pirans Prep School and Highfield Prep School.
